Harvey and Eagle Award-nominated comic creator, writer, and editor, Dwight L. MacPherson, has been one of the most prolific writing professionals in the comic industry. A longtime advocate of webcomics, digital media, and the use of comics in the classroom, Dwight’s work has been published by DC Comics, Image Comics, IDW Publishing, and several others. He is a recipient of the 2019 Maker of Note award from The Lakelander Magazine. He was also an expert speaker for the U.S. State Department’s global online comics program, AE Global Comics.

He is the recipient of the 2021 International Poe Festival Saturday ‘Visiter’ Award for Original Works Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe for The Imaginary Voyages of Edgar Allan Poe. He resides in a historic farmhouse in Florida with his wife, Rebecca, and their French Bulldog named Pip Copperpot MacPherson, Esq.
