Cover Reveal!
There was a distinct era—now buried somewhere beneath the digital topsoil of the early two-thousands—when life was relatively quiet. You kept a modest Blogger page, set a song on your Myspace profile to establish your mood, and that was that. Today, an author is expected to juggle approximately sixty-four million algorithms, apps, and micro-platforms just to tell folks a new story exists. It is enough to make anyone long for a quiet parlor and a single telegraph machine.
I’ve always tried to adhere to the old military maxim from my medic days: Keep It Simple, Stupid. Our goal has always been remarkably straightforward: write the stories, print the books, and bring everything—including the comics—under one tidy roof. We stopped chasing the digital noise and anchored ourselves right here on the website. So far, the roof has held, and we haven’t looked back.
Which brings us to the real business of the day.
Consider, if you will, the final chapter. You slowed down when you first passed the town limits. You lingered long enough to uncover what was buried beneath the pines. Now, the quiet rot has reached the surface, and the time has come to fight for the place.
Here is your first look at the cover for the third and final installment of the Waadizi Cycle: The Fall of Waadizi, Michigan.
Cover by Logan MacPherson
The final chapter arrives October 1, 2026, in eBook, paperback, and hardcover.
To everyone who has walked this road with us—whether you joined when a certain nineteenth-century poet was first losing his mind in ink, or only recently wandered into the woods of Northern Michigan—thank you. You keep the porch light burning and make the long hours at the typewriter worth every draft.
